I installed UT GOTY on my new laptop think woot i can play UT whilst at home. Trouble is when i play it the game runs in slow motion, my look speed is the same but when i try and move it is like moving through toffee, the bots have the same problem, i tried other rendering devices only to find that these just gave me a low fps.

This is the specs of my laptop if it helps:

UT should really not be a problem.

I know, it's not really the most fun thing to do with specs like these, also AMD with their 64bit processors seem to have a similair prob like this.

my 64 bit AMD has no problem

i really cannot see a way to forcibly turn off one core, the processor does this itself if it can. Anyone know how to do it?

I must say I haven't a dualcore myself, but I believe there is an option for this in the taskmanager
